JOY spend several years hiding in the back of her cage, unwilling to come out, hissing and slapping at anyone who tried to show her kindness. What a difference now! Change has come very gradually but now she purrs and likes to be patted. She even likes belly rubs. She is still not really confident around other cats, preferring to observe rather than join in the fun. Joy is about thirteen years old with glossy black fur. She actually comes out now and sits on the nearest cat tree, encouraged by her friend Cupid. She would be a great companion for an older person. CUPID is one of the sweetest cats you will ever meet. She is not shy but somehow is often overlooked amongst all the other black cats in the room (even with those lovely green eyes). She never calls attention to herself but she really likes people. She loves to be patted and purrs with appreciation. She especially likes belly rubs and positively wiggles with delight. She gets along fine with other cats and has had several boyfriends. She is about twelve years old and should also be a great companion for an older person. Joy and Cupid would make a wonderful pair. They don't ask for much except love and a little food. They can be adopted separately but it would be so much more fun to have them both.
